Good sense of humor, an insane combo system, great characters & addictive gameplay. I can't put it down.

User Rating: 9.5 | Makai Senki Disgaea 2 Portable PSP
Disagea is a game that can't be played lightly. When playing through tutorials & reading through the instruction manual, there's a lot to take in, but it isn't enough to make you stop playing. Once you get the basic drift of the game, you don't need to develop a deep strategy to beat every enemy, just leveling up a few characters to a high(ish) level will be enough, but it isn't easy. You have to get a basic grasps of what different colour tiles & their effects are, what battle units do & about moving around the map with height & jumping restrictions in place.
There are other things to do apart from kill things. For starts there the "dark assembly". When you kill any enemy you get "mana", this is used in the dark assembly to make new characters or ask senetors to pass bills. If you successfully pass a bill, you can get better weapons, better characters or level up your stats for the next fight. Basically, if you prepared to spend hours leveling up your characters & earning money to buy far out weapons, then this game should be a laugh.
