Great, then Gymkhana happened

As a Dirt 2 fan, was really looking forward to some great rally racing.

And sure enough Dirt 3 does deliver some awesome racing, particularly the rally events which are often nail-bitingly close as the AI is much improved compared to Dirt 2, where the AI only became competitive in the last few events qualified for (note I play in Advanced settings).

The rallycross events and landrush events are also good fun, though again like Dirt 2, the buggies are frustrating (And not optional in some events!).

Unfortunately the game is almost totally WRECKED by the inclusion of Gymkhana events, which is basically car tricks. Perhaps some people might enjoy that, but I don't. I found this frustrating, and extremely boring. All the work on Gymkhana could have been much better used on creating more rally tracks...what a disappointment.

    Waste of time: go play DiRT 2.
