A NEW GAME IN THE FINAL FANTASY SERIES OMG VINCENT!!>!>!>1112. Well sorry guys but this really isn't the awesome advent children prequel we all expected. Insted you are left with a mediocre shooter where the subject matter is truely better than the game. Now Dirge of Cerberus takes place before advent children, and the discovery of a secret shinra genetics lab. Some geneticly designed soldiers escape and all hell breaks loose as they try to revive ultima weapon. Now im thinking as i play the game " well its ff so the story will atleast be good." and sadly it really isn't. Insted of benifiting the general story like most prequals should, it actually manages to hurt FF7. The story is really bad, its generic at best and will make you cringe with its predictable twists and its utterly pointless turns. Still not detured think the ff music will always come through? Well once again it really doesn't Compared to the other games the music is really a disapointment. Theres secret modes and such when you beat the game but its hard to imagine anyone wanting to lay hands on it after playing it. Overall this game was a real disapointment to me, It doesn't meet the standards of the series and it doesn't meet the standards of todays games. So if your still interested i suggest a rent.
