Not perfect but definately a good game

User Rating: 7.8 | Digimon World PS
The story's simple, putting you in the role of a kid who enjoys raising Digimon (Digital monsters that walk, talk, eat, fight, etc.) when he gets sucked into the digital world and must find Digimon and bring them back to the city to repopulate it. Gameplay- The game consists of raising and training a Digimon. You have to look after every single one of it's needs (including sleep, eating, stat raising, and making sure it "goes" in the right places). You go around fighting and talking to Digimon, from doing jobs to battling them so that they can join the city. That's pretty fun/challenging enough. The battle system isn't as good as it could have been, involving but a few commands that delay, but if you have enough chips/of an advantage, then it's simple and satisfying enough. Graphics-Not that great really. They're ok in my opinion, but could've been better if they tried. The world textures look decent while the Digimon models look nice, but nothing spectacular. Sound-Decent sounds, but nothing above average. Just some simple sounds, attacks, battle music, etc.. Value-With time changing from day to night and you requiring to raise your Digimon properly so they can Digivolve into the one/s you want it to, it has more than enough playability, minigames, quests, and places to keep you occupied for a very long time. Tilt-Overall it's a fun monster raising game with plenty to offer to anyone who enjoys these types of games. Though it could've been made a little better, it's a game worth getting.
