What were they thinking when they gave a 4.3/10 to this game? Don't mind Gamespot, this is the Best Digimon Game Ever!!!

User Rating: 8.5 | Digimon World 4 PS2
It was christmas time, and I was, curiously, watching Digimon Season 2. I really liked those cartoons, but season 2 is definetely inferior to the first one. My friends always said that Digimon was a cheap imitation of Pokemon, and it didn't even compare to it's quality. I only said this to them: If it's a copy or not, I don't care! As long as it's cool, I'm fine with it!

After the episode finished, the Digimon World 4 commercial was running, and I watched it. I loved the commercial, it just gave me a idea of a great game, an action-RPG Digimon game. I gotta buy it! Well, I bought it in my birthday, and when I arrived home, before playing the game, I went to the internet and searched the people's opinion of this game. I saw some mixed reactions, but the one that really scared me the most was Gamespot's review: 4.3/10. My heart was beatting very fast, thinking that I bought a game that the best video game site in the world says it sucks. Then, I finally got to play it, gone through the 1st dungeon...played a little more...where the hell is the suck in the game? This is the proof that Gamespot doesn't know what a good game is, and I'll never trust this site again!!!

The game is quite simple. You choose a Digimon in the beginning (Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon and Dorumon), and you must save the Digital World from some Virus Digimons. The point of the game is simply to go to the dungeons of each world. Every dungeon has a boss, and the first ones will give you keys to open the final dungeon of the world to fight the real boss of that world. Basically, that's what you do in every world... Alright I must admit that this thing kinda sucks, but doing this is more fun than you can imagine. The are four worlds, and the number of dungeons differ with the world your on.

This is a list of what I find to be the only flaws in the game:
.Repetitive Gameplay
.The soundtrack isn't really much
.Some of the dungeons are a REEEALLLY pain in the ass to complete

But besides that, this is a great game! If your a Digimon fan, chances are that you'll love this game. It is one of the most underratted games ever, without a soul of a doubt.
