Worth playing, but being a fanatic helps... - in a note to my classification - underapreciated by me as well :)

User Rating: 8 | Digimon World 3: Aratanaru Bouken no Tobira PS
Ok, i'll just go throught the attribute thingy;

Gameplay: You play a total prat, fanatic, looser excuse of a human being who i would personally like to hit with several heavy items...several times.. over and over.. ANYWHO - he and his friends teddy and ivy are all on there way down to 'digimon online', where they create accounts and play on a digital game that reminds me of runescape in its design, you get to choose your log-in username and your three digimon, (i would advise getting patamon or else you will die from a lack of healing spells, of course if you like a challenge then don't bother as patamon is also the worst at everything else), then you get to go into the digital world of digimon which is just digitally fantastic as here you get to finally control your character, i would also advise here to train all of your digimon to at least lv5 before starting out properly - this takes time but is very very useful, now i wont ruin the story but guess what there are some bad guys trying to do bad things with their bad digimon... onto other gameplay info...

- right you run around this digital world doing little deeds as you go, fighting bosses and a giant yellow cube, having fun discovering loads of things about this fake digital world, there are lots of fun features, card battles - thats just great ha ha ha :), and theres gym leaders too, and theres other bozos like your character and OH theres an annoying thing - right, when your walking around, the game is loading the screen continuously, this results in annoying squares blocking your view an awful lot - i would advise (i give far too much advice) to play this game on a ps2 - this way these squares go away much faster- back to what i was saying, theres loads of features that can be great fun. or course theres also a lot of features that are not fun - for instance, at one stage in the story line you have to go right across the entire map, this plus all the random encounters and slow loading time took me so long that i just gave up and didnt go on it for ages and eventually took me about two-three hours. and there are other times when you have to do a load of puzzle solving only to find that it was rather pointless, plus all the random battles that happen whilst puzzle solving is very VERY annoying. You have to be patient for this game, but theres always the possiablility (spelling????) that your digimon will learn a new technique ! yay ! or digivolution ! YAY ! - my final conclusion, tedious but fun all the same.

Graphics: When you are just walking around your basicly playing an even more 2D version of the sims(1), it is very basic but effective also allowing the creators more memory space to make a bigger game. When in battle everything is in 3D shapes, rather basic but for a ps i have seen much worse... anywho the opening clip is very well done, however the in game clips are all done with in game graphics no fancy stuff there.

Sound: The sound is perfect for most occasions and has a light hearted feel most of the time but becomes tense at the right moments. Nothing mch more to say... oh exept that people still dont speak out loud.

Value: i don't think youll find it for much more that £7 in england cant say about anywhere else... once your bored of it a few months later it is fun again - also starting again is a little tedious untill your digimon are up and running with at least 2 different digivolutions and gets better once you find eggs (will say no more so as not to spoil)

Reviewers tilt: I gave it 10 here because it is better than the other factors of the rating system let off...

Other: Warning dont play if your into loads of action etc, it is a long game that has very little action in it.
