Digimon World 3 deep down may have a good "Digivolution" system in its core but it doesn't excuse how its ignores basics

First off i guarantee if you are a Digimon Fan you will love this game 5 stars instantly because in what it needs for fans it does perfectly: ok looking characters, incorporates the entire universe of the TV show well, and has the main characters scattered through a whole new plotline...HOW COOL IS THAT? Not very.... for people who aren't obsessed with the Digital Monster Mafia. The sad thing is that deep down I can see a possibly good game inside with its good, somewhat addictive "Digivolution" system but how it completely ignores anything that a basic game needs- good environments for combat, SOUND DESIGN, and even more so some kind of leadership throughout the game, any kind of acceptable pacing through combat- the game completely forgets these things, BUT if you own a guide and are a Fan of RPGS or a Fan of Digimon you may find yourself enjoying this game to an extent but that is where it ends. (Hey it is only 15 bucks though)
PS: GO PLAY FINAL FANTASY VII, VIII, IX, OR ANY SOLID RPG BY SQUARE ENIX.
