I don't see how it could have been better.

I've always wanted to try out a Diablo game. Never tried it on the PC or the PS1 back in the day. However, looting, grinding and character customization is my thing. That type of addictive gameplay is what i wanted from borderlands 1&2 but the entire experience was cheapened by the fact most people had the best gear through modding. Well, i got the game 12am at walmart and didn't stop playing for 11 hours straight and i still want more. I only got to the start of act 2 and there are four act plus 4 more difficulties to unlock. I only found 1 piece of legendary gear in that 11 hour period. Thus, the excitement when you do find a item like that is not matched by any looting game i've ever played on the console.

Furthermore, as you replay the game, the levels and mods will be randomly generated so it never gets old. Up until this day my favorite co-op game of all time was L4D2, but today D3 took the crown. The environments are so distinct looking and the mods are all different having a several skills to test your metal.
Furthermore, the cinematic portions are a nice break and its the best i've seen in any game.

If you viewed the gameplay trailers or watched people play on Youtube, its not the same as playing it for yourself. As you advance in level there are many skills you can use as well as runes to modify those skills. To me theres a lot of depth in how you can customize your personal fighting style and the possibilities seem endless.

I've played games like DAO, skyrim, dragons dogma, witcher and more, however, this is something way different and brings a new flavor to gaming on consoles we have yet to be a part of. Moreover, most people say that this is the superior version if its compared to the PC because there is no AH and the loot is designed to drop at higher rates for your class. However, you'll still get stuff from other classes you don't need but you can drop it and gift someone in your party who can use it, which really builds friendships.

I've heard it said on IGN that players who have never played D2 will like this one better because they don't have the expectations from D2. Well, true or not, i'm very impressed with this game and will be playing long after i get a X1. There is also a mild crafting system that helps supplement you gear thats simple and easy to use. Furthermore, once you first start playing you'll think the game isnt that challenging because when you die you just revive. Well after level 10 you equipment condition will reduce by 10% and in some areas youll get you but kicked and will not to die at all, especially when you get low on cash. Moreover, when you get to a boss fight if your whole party gets wipe you all have to restart the fight.

This game is a must buy if you like action RPGs elements, co-op and looting. To me i can't see how this game could be any better and the fun, team work, loot and excitement are different, so for me, its a 10. I'm so into this game that the wait for GTAV is no longer an issue, which i'll still buy and play of course, but even after GTAV, ill be playing this game daily, heck, even as i said before, even after X1.

This game is a must buy if any of these elements interest you.
