Awesome action game with plenty of replay value!
In DMC 3 SE You can play as Dante: The son legendary dark knight Sparda or as his evil twin brother Vergil. They both basically have the same missions but Vergil has his own combat style, weapons and moves. There are several new characters in this game Like Jester the clown and Lady, a girl who carries all kinds of weapons like rocket launcher called Kalina Ann.
There are lots of guns and melee weapons (Devil arms) and you can customize them with red orbs. You also use red orbs to buy healing items and other stuff. You spent most of the time in this game killing enemies and bosses (and there are a lot of bosses) with stylish combos and special moves. There are also some platforming and puzzles thrown into the mix. when you defeat certain bosses you acquire new weapons like Nevan the electric bat guitar.
You start the game with 4 different combat styles: Trickster helps you move around and evade enemy attack more easily, Swordmaster allows you to unlock new moves for your devil arms, Gunslinger gives you new attacks for your guns and allows you to "charge" them, Royalguard makes blocking and countering easy. You also unlock couple more styles later in the game.
If you've already played the original Devil May Cry 3 you might be wondering why should you buy this special edition. Well, not only do you get new playable character, but you also get new survival mode called Bloody Palace, which contains 9999 waves of enemies, new difficulty level, new bosses, turbo mode (speeds up gameplay by 20%) and some other extras. The overall difficulty of Normal and Hard are easier than in the original DMC3, so if you liked it but if it was too hard for you this might be the game for you.
There is a lot replay value in this game thanks to six difficulty levels, two playable characters, ranking system and many other unlockables. All these things make Devil May Cry 3 SE the best game in the series and in my opinion one of the best games ever.
