Could be better.

User Rating: 7 | Devil May Cry 2 PS2
The game is very easy even for those who play it first, although it has beautiful graphics but lacks a good story and gameplay is average compared to the first Devil May Cry, all attack movements of the characters are the same and little variety in firearms (except firearms in the case of Dante) and even in the higher difficulty levels is not a big challenge, so after a while the game becomes very repetitive and boring.
The fact is, too confident of his own hit, Devil May Cry 2 was produced by a completely different team. That would be cruel to the franchise not to mention that we have a team of amateurs, then it becomes very difficult to imagine how easy it is ruining many of the key elements of the original. If the graphics deserves applause, the music game ever make the first slide. While attempting to leave the game with a darker face, good tunes that mixed high-techs a progressive rock with electronic music tracks were replaced by repetitive and uninspired, with heavier beats out almost appealing.
Devil May Cry 2 still suffers from immaturity in the way of putting his characters into the game. Dante's less fun with his charm and his usual smart sarcasm of the first game and Lucia also adds nothing to the story.
