I got this game when I was looking to get into something on the mac. I played the original Deus Ex years ago and loved it. I wasn't sure this would live up to how much I enjoyed playing that one but it really did. You can choose to be sneaky/stealthy, violent or peaceful. It really manages to tap into your own morality in regard to how you deal with people. I liked how the game forced your hand sometimes in regard to having a fight with a lot of people, almost a zombie fest which got quite freaky when loads of people are running at you, it was really well done.
The cut scenes are well written and made, they don't waffle on too much and the story flows nicely. Background sounds are true to the environment and you really do go drawn into the story and places you are in.
I was really impressed with this game and got quite addicted to it until I had finished it, now I'm a bit lost and looking for the the next stealth game to get into.
