Better than the Gamespot Review! Don't let that deter you!
I haven't been so surprised by a game's "fun factor" in I don't know how many years. I've been playing the game non-stop for 3 days. It's so amazingly addictive, really pulls you in. Granted, the servers are taking a beating, and they're working around the clock to get all of that smoothed out. So, don't let it frustrate you. The quick "Skirmish" mode works best of all of them for me, for now while the kinks get resolved, so that's fine. It's instant action, non-stop, Demigod pounding.
If you've played Defense of the Ancients "DOTA" for Warcraft 3 you'll be instantly at home. After playing Demigod I won't be returning to DOTA. It's more polished, more diverse, and a lot less frustrating. There's none of the frustrating "combine 25 things to upgrade your weapon" stuff going on here. Thank goodness!
I guarantee you won't be disappointed, in fact I'm positive that for the majority of the people sitting on the fence, they'll be disappointed they didn't pick up a copy earlier. I know I was!
