Much better than 6.5; highly addictive, despite the multiplayer connection issues.
It's similarities to DotA are obvious, but I rejected playing DotA because I felt the Warcraft 3 graphics engine was outdated and unappealing--
Demigod has a fresh feel and the gameplay/effects are superior in quality. The variety in choices of customization is immense; there is no obvious or "best" choice of which specs to pick for your demigod and there is a smorgasbord of items and armor to in which to upgrade your character.
RTS and DotA fans alike will appreciate the game's quality presentation and replayability. Looking forward to more classes being added as promised in the instruction booklet. Overall, a great game and deserves a much higher rating than a 6.5 despite it's online connectivity issues and lack of a single player/story feature. This game has a ton of depth and I look forward to coming updates in the future that will contribute to the refinement of this excellent game.
