One of the most bizarre mixed reactions I've had from a game. Ending left me wanting more AND glad it was over!

I'm gonna review the game from the story aspect only.

This game is the very definition of "Bad First Impression". The first 4 hours or so had me wishing I'd be done with it quickly. It also has what could be considered one of the longest prologue chapters in video game history. The characters' "fixed" reactions made some of the scenes, even the plot-twist revelation ones, quite laughable. And it really didn't pick up until the 2nd episode or so. The limited musical score didn't fair well either. Imagine having a selection of only 3 musical tracks to edit on 100+ cut-scenes, yup, repetition and hilarity to boot. I just kept humming the tunes even before they starting playing based on a character's speech, just hilarious.

The plot, however, is what keeps you going. And I honestly deducted a plot-twist early in the game that later actually occurred. But as it turned out it was only a quarter of the true twist, so that had me surprised. This is the best thing about the game, the unpredictability of the plot.

Bottomline, play this only if you love your games with excellent stories. This is a budget title that is carried from start to finish solely on its plot. Those looking for Good-Plots-Sacrificed-For-Multiplayer-Gameplay-ala-Resident-Evil-5 should stay clear away.
