The most underrated game of all time?

I don't have enough words to describe Deadly Premonition, but suffice to say it is the best game I have played in a long time, going toe to toe with great titles in gaming and even better than some overrated games.

This is a true masterpiece that mixes gaming and storytelling and with a unique way of interacting with the player, that succeeds greatly and delivers. I don't know why this game is so under appreciated and why it got so much bad reviews, I guess people nowadays care mostly about technical issues and forget that they are playing a game. Of course deadly premonition is way way way down on technical aspects when it is compared to other great titles of action/horror gaming, but it is way way way way up in uniqueness in story/storytelling/awkwardness it delivers. It even tells you about real movies and music bands. If you like Twin Peaks, you will love this game. SWERY (director and great mind I might add) clearly wanted the game to be like this, bad technical aspects, but great heart. This "Game" is like an homage to all the b-movies out there (some of them greatly underrated too)

Our Character, Mr. Francis York Morgan, a character that has all the b-movie clichés on mind is different from all the game heroes/main characters you have played in a long time. Heck, even the secondary characters are unique, Hell even the dogs in this game are epic. The story? You play as an FBI Agent, assigned to go investigate a murder on a small town called Greenvale, as the investigation goes on Mr. Francis York Morgan starts seeing the similarities with his previous cases and the game starts to twist. Simple, Smart and with hardcore final twists.

My opinion about this game is that, every TRUE and SMART gamers out there will love it, while fan boys and play by playing gamers out there will hate it. IGN 2/10? If I was the director of IGN I would immediately fire the guy who reviewed this masterpiece. Ignore the bad ratings, Ignore the technical aspects (THIS IS A GAME, IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED RIGHT? If you want the best graphics and best gameplay, why go outside grab a camera and go shooting people in the head for double points, there, you got your dream game like people now strive to get) Ignore the problems with gaming, cinema and music nowadays and go play it now if you are a fan of real artwork and culture.
