Bugs Bugs Bugs... Unfinished and Greenwave Games will not support it!
Your season can end in the instant with a crew problem that can not be fixed. The Crew AI could never have been test. Literally your crew runs all over the boat doing what ever they want. God forbid you drop a pot on the desk... season over. The idea has great potential, but poorly executed by Greenwave Game. Discovery Channel should have took a closer look at this company before they agreed to put their names on it.
In the forums for the developers you can find other witnesses to the major problems with this game. Some mods have been created to assist will balance and gameplay, but the base simple problems in the code (that also show up in the Xbox360 version that came out 1 month before the PC version).
no MP on the PC version, Xbox360 has it... No Joystick or gamepad control, only keyboard and mouse. This can make the boat very hard to control.
So, to finish we will call it a horrible Xbox360 game that was very very poorly ported to PC.
