Dead Space 2 is like Dead Space merged with Bioshock 2: a downgrade from the original.

I loved Dead Space. Loved it! It was alive, real, and scary. Dead Space 2 got Bioshock 2'ed: boring level design, weaker story, just killing stuff mostly. Now, I really didn't like Bioschlock 2 and quit it after a while, and I did play Dead Space 2 to the end...but I was glad it was over. Hey, nothing is really wrong with this game, it's a good space-horror shooter, but nothing more. I hope Dead Space 3 recaptures some of what made the original special but was missing in part 2. There were a few parts that were really cool, but mostly it was just get to the next level already. Graphics were ok but nothing special. Sound effects and music remain very good. Perhaps if they developed the story and characters more it would have been better. On normal setting the game is easier than the original. There is less unique gameplay and things to do as well here.
