This is what a sequel should be!

Dead Space 2 For PS3

The Good: Awesome voice acting, Stunning Graphics, Improved character development, Creepy Music, Keeps you hooked right til the end!

The Bad: No boss fights, Storyline still makes you go WTF, Short

Gameplay: 9 out of 10

The gameplay is preety much the same as before tons of weapons to choose from each with there own strengths. The gameplay in space however has been massively improved with a jet pack I guess you could call it where you fly through the air instead of jumping from wall to wall like the last game. The controls move preety solid and everything feels sharp. I find the enemies rush at you alot faster in this game then the last and that it makes using powers like throwing stuff at enemies completly useless as you have no time to set up, not to mention enemies appear from everywhere. In a horror game that makes sense to make it the thrill but when it comes to challange it sorta just feels cheap.

Sound 9.5 out of 10

With Isaac finally given a real role this game can spin off a real storyline with character development and the voice actors do a great job bring them to life. The music is creepy and loud! For a horror game this is clearly a plus, but I found nothing really made me go wow!

Storyline 8 out of 10

Without spoiling anything the story still makes you go wtf and clearly everyone is insane! For shooters, storyline is always second and this is no different.

Graphics 10 out of 10

Ok maybe a perfect 10 is a bit much as theres always room for improvement but compairing it to games today this is top of the line and looks dead amazing!

Overall 9.5 out of 10

A solid overall experience with lots of improvement over the first game and kept me hooked right to the end. The game lasted for me roughly a bit over 8 hours so its a bit short and with the missing of real boss fights like the first game it brings the score down a bit. I would recommend renting this game for one awesome weekend of fun, but when it comes to a second playthrough I see little need as the element of surprise is gone and the cheap enemies get really annoying when playing on a harder difficulty.
