Dead Rising 2 Video Review

Repetitive and monotonous. Killing zombies over and over again for reasons you don't really care about just gets boring after a few hours. Meh.

8.5 is right, the zombrex time limit is too unforgiving, you should be able to give any meds you have to the woman in the safe house so you don';t have to make sure you're back in time

Boxing gloves will burn with gas poured on them, not explode.

you put oil on boxing gloves and it works, you put gasoline on boxing gloves and it doesn't work, how is that an inconsistency? Of course it's not gonna work, gasoline is just going to explode, whereas oil burns.

love the costume changes in the review and the game :) I didn't try quite that many combinations! the map issue was very vexing! I love that about most games, but by the end I did know kinda where I was. @Sixshooter13 - if it's under $20, then yes, it is worth that. Not $60, like I paid ;) It's lighthearted and fun!

I loved the first Dead Rising. I've heard mixed reviews about this one. Is Dead Rising 2 worth my money?

I took a look at dead island and its gonna be a great zombie survival,so yeah check it out

@WTFitsPauL look, those cod "Zombie Mode" isn't really a zombie mode, it doesn't reflect anything about zombies other than running around a room trying not to get scratched while picking random weapons in a mystery crate. It doesn't deserve to be called "Zombie Mode".

It looks very fun. and i don't have an xbox so sense i cant get left for dead i would love try a different zombie game but on the PS3! :D

I think Dead Rising is better than Left 4 Dead. I like games that let you mess around, not be forced to keep moving and rely so heavily on team play to survive.

OMG, I have never been so frustrated with a game in my entire life. I am talking about the mission you have to close the gate of the safehouse. I have failed this mission about 15 times in a row now, and each time I try to replay it takes about 90 secs (no exaggeration) to load. It just will not give me enough time to collect the gas can, generator and spool of wire, this is likely because I cut it fine in the previous part of that scenario but come on! Surely they should reset the clock and give you more time to finish a mission that is clearly not directly related to the previous mission in any tangible way other than sharing a time limit for whatever bizarre reason. Serious flaw in my opinion. I cannot remember the last time I was so absolutely disgusted with a game. I am now trapped, there is no way for me to complete the main story quest, I will have to start it from scratch and seeing as I am on day 4 I would say there is a greater likliehood I will launch the disc out of the window and try and forget about this game forever. I will not even attempt to go back and play it unless they patch this horrible, game ruining, illogical bug. Shame because I was really enjoying it up until that point.
