This game grows on you and gets you hooked

This game starts right off with action on the tutorial when the games begins. You get to know your weapon and your skills pretty quick, there is a learning curve for every role and how you use the weapon combined with the special attacks the character has. The leveling time isn't that long in this game, and you get to know the setting of the game during the leveling. You also get to know different stories going on in the game. The alert instances are great to play, and aren't that hard to complete with other players once you get to know how the bosses work. Pvp has a Legends mopde and a regular pvp mode. The legends mode makes it possible to play actual DC characters and can be fun to try it out. But if you like the regular pvp that is fine too. Alll of the pvp maps aren't based solely on how many players you manage to win over, but how your team works together. Also there are some missions to do during that like Capture the Flag and all the regular pvp modes.
When you get to 30 you are able to do Duo's, Hard Alerts and Raids. Duo's make it easy for characters with not to great gear to get a chance to play "older" content in a new setting. You get another level 30 player with you and the difficult level is higher then the regular solo instances on lower levels. Hard Alerts also give you the same. Some of the older alerts but also some new ones. Raids are the greatest challenge in the game, with firece bosses and a lot of friends to help you. This gives the games some depth. Challenges also give you easier content to do when you don't have any gear, it allows you to revisit older and newer content.
All though most of the game is solid in every way, it still lacks some content. Don't worry though, it there will be new content every month. So there will be more to look forward to. There are also some glitches and bugs that can be annoying, but they get fixed and hopefully will be gone for good not too far in the future. This game doesn't require you to know the DC Universe. It shows you a Superhero game which doesn't require a lot of knowledge to really enjoy the game. It's a really fun game to play and it's not a hard game to like
