There is a learning curve, people. You will be rewarded for your patience.

I am playing a martial arts master with fighting claws, super speed and telekinesis. I can levitate my enemy and fling a car at him. It is awesome fun.

There is a learning curve. DCUO has a lot of very complex structure. If you are a WoW player, the controls will feel weird for a while, but once you figure out your combo moves, combat is really satisfying. Once you learn keyboard/mouse shortcuts, the UI fades into the background. Most of your combat moves will happen by using only your mouse buttons.

You can respec your character whenever you like and you can change your costume and colors at any time. It took me a while to figure that out, but now I am very satisfied with the character creation aspect of DCUO.

I do look forward to expansion of power choices, but there is a lot to keep me busy until then.

My one major complaint, and it cost a whole point from my scoring, is the chat UI is very clunky. This game is only as strong as the weakest link, and that weak link is that this is also a console game. It is not easy to chat, make friends and socialize. you will spend most of your time alone, even though this is an mmo.

There is room for improvement overall, but right out of the gate DCUO is damn fun to play. The combat and storytelling are really excellent.
