If you must play this game, RENT it.

I have made the wise decision of renting this game instead of buying it. I looked at the box and read the description while browsing my nearby rental store. I thought, this may be a good game.

I loaded the game, and watched a minute of the movie and skipped it. The movies were very done well with graphics, but the story itself just drags on and on (like reading a Charles Dickens book). The character voices were done amazingly. This game seemed like I was watching an Anime.

The gameplay...stinks. When I first entered the game, I had trouble looking in the direction I wanted to. The first objective in the game is to follow this "bunny-type" pet. Like all pets, this one moves into one direction then quickly turns the other way. I always move the camera, so I can see exactly what I am looking at. The problem is that the camera does not want to cooperate me, and stays at a low angle.
At the end of each chapter, Keldy must fight a boss. Each boss stronger than the last one. In Chapter 2, Keldy fights a tree-type monster. The monster is weakened by exploding pumpkins and fiery wood. When I try to dodge one of the tree's attacks, I would either run into something or mess up my camera angle.
After that camera angle catastrophe, I would get hit. Keldy would fly up into the air, and as soon as he touches the ground, a monster would hit him again. Keldy goes flying across the area, and the boss would hit him with the tree branches. Keldy goes flying again and falls down to the ground, but this time he stays on the ground. Why? He died.
Keldy also receives items that can be used against monsters. A vine whip, which I have not used yet; and some magic items. I use the magic items on bosses and large monsters. Sometimes, the magic does not shoot at the monster I want to shoot at, but either an object or the wall. Aiming is very horrible because the monster comes flying at you if you do not move.

This game is hard. Not because of the challenging bosses and monsters, but the prevention of playing in a manner that you can see all the monsters in your field of view.
