Never a dull moment!

Dawn of discovery is one of the most addictive games you can play, all it's perfect elements combine to forge a one solid game that is guaranteed to draw you into playing it for countless hours.
I almost finished every mission in one single session(missions takes 2-3 hours, maybe less now that I understand the game better), and I started a continuous game which took about 16 hours(so far :-) ).
the campaign is very fun with a nice story that eases you into understanding the game, which is basically managing a city, with different levels of civilization, and an ever increasing number of citizens that requires food and supplies to make your town bigger, there's never a dull moment with a large number of quests that keeps you busy while teaching you how to play the game.
Combat is innovative and different than your average city planning game war combat, and you can choose to rely on combat or commerce and diplomacy in continuous games.
Graphics are a top notch, and I think to prove the developers point, one type of game quests makes you take a closer look and search the streets of your city to find a target while inspecting the beautifully made buildings and people of your town.
Music plays a nice role and adding the finishing touch to the game.
only thing this game is missing IMO is a top level filters that enable me to find what I'm looking for easily on an island, it's hard to find a brewery in a large islands with so many building around it, also it would be better to have filters to show the converge of a service building like a fire station for example, there is a way to do that but it could be better.
All in all this game sucked me to play it continuously for hours and I even felt guilty playing it for so long without a break.
