This might be great for fan service but everyone else might want to think twice in playing this game.

User Rating: 7 | Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp NS

The good: All-star cast in all games into one, battling monsters and grinding to level 99 can be challenging, enjoyable character moments throughout the game, girls in swimsuits is fun to look at.

The bad: Getting monocoins can get repetitive, monocub boss fights can be hard to get through, relying on luck than skill, unlocking everything can take more than days to complete, no way to change the development settings to make it easier to reach level 99, no multiplayer.

Ok. This is not another "Mario Party" game nor is it like a Monopoly game either. It's pretty much a mixture of both with Danganronpa series thrown in for the sake of fun. And taking a break from murdering each other and doing ridiculous class trials. While it is fun in its own uniqueness, it will take a lot of determination to complete this game. As part of Danganronpa Decadence.

Without spoiling it, the gameplay has no difficulty. Instead, you have fifty moves to turn your character from a nobody, to a somebody. This takes place on Danganonpa 2 Goodbye Despair in which the class is set on a tropical island and the map reflects on it respectfully. While it's fun fighting monsters, bosses and enjoying character moments, your options are severly limited. You can't change the development mode settings, the monocub bosses can be difficult to beat, relying on luck than skill, it's nearly impossible to reach level 99 within 50 moves.

To make matters worse, to unlock everything, you need monocoins. Yes! You heard right, monocoins. Those are tied to achievements and that's where you get coins from. Same with battling monsters every ten levels as well to earn silver coins. What really is a grind is going to Shop Mode to unlock everything. Not only can you unlock characters in four separate classes, but you can also unlock their stats and boost attributes to make it through the game easier. Worst of all, there's no multiplayer. So, you're on your own.

Graphically, it looks good between pixel art and anime cartoon pictures which animates, depending on what your favourite character is doing. Perhaps the only good thing that came out of it is the girls in swimsuits. Don't they look very adorable? Makes you think about cosplaying maybe. The music is appropriate and fun with voice snip its and 8-bit music and sound effects. Perhaps it would sound better if they remixed the music to make it more energetic to listen to.

This game is not as bad as it sounds. It supposed to release the tension after playing all three series, with the absence of a fourth, involving the first protagonists' sister. Anyway, despite the fan service, good luck spending a lot of time unlocking everything, just to get the fun out of this game. People who are Danganronpa fans may enjoy this, but anyone else who's new to this game needs to be dedicated to enjoying what this game has to offer, despite a lack of multiplayer and finding reasons to play this game.

After all, is there a party game with the anime series attachment to it.
