Laura... LAURA!!
I don't know how many times I suffered through those psychic connections from her father (a psycho who murdered a whole psych hospital, and smacked of Dracula!). You'll be just running up the stairs and all the sudden "Laura... LAUra... LAURA!!!" All play HALTS while you sit through these long, drawn out, excruciating hints and pleas from the bad guy to join your side!
The absolute first game I ever played for the Playstation I was caught by the beautiful graphics (of those days' standards) and the neat interactive environments. Well, interactive in a Myst sort of way. The dual ending was a first for me too... Join the Bad Guy or Defeat Him! Choices, choices...
There were definitely area's that made you want to throw the controller though, besides the LAURAs... That god-awful pit with the Knight hovering over it. I was stuck there for what seemed like forever! I understand that the game is impossible to find now. Either a person loved it, and refuses to let it go (charging $50 on Ebay!) or they Hated it and got rid of it at their earliest convenience. I, for one, still find myself perusing the PSX games that come through my local Gamestop.. just in case.
