I really want to give this game a higher score.

User Rating: 7 | Gekitou! Custom Robo DS
Plot: The plot is just stupid. There's hardly any substance, there isn't anything surprising. If your expecting something better than the horrid plot of the GameCube version, you're expecting WAY to much. Almost half of the game is worthless text. I'm guessing the story was intended as a realistic story, but it's so linear. If I wanted to play a game with a realistic story, I want to choose what I do. The character's have really stupid designs and generic personalities. And why SO FREAKING MUCH TEXT! It only helps half of the time, and the other half you'll be wondering around aimlessly. 3/10

GamePlay: Wow. Just wow. The gameplay may seem boring at first, because your weapons suck, but give it time, it will freaking blow your mind. It's as great as the gamecube version. There are so many options for customizing options. It gives you many strategies for Wi-Fi. The soul boost also works well. The game is a bit easy, but it gets harder later on. The game will keep you busy, because there is a bit to do after story mode. It also has a variety of stages and have interesting set-ups. Leading to my only complaint of the gameplay, I would've wanted a stage builder. 10/10

Graphics: The graphics are pretty good. One thing I liked about the series is that the custom parts actually appear differently. The sprites in the over world are pretty good, but they kinda remind me of something... Pokemon? Nah. Overall, they are pretty cool, especially the Robot designs. My only complaint is that the textures are pretty bland. 8/10

SoundTrack: I am actually surprised. The soundtrack is really cool. It's not amazing, but it's decent. Not much to say on this topic. 7.5/10

Plot 3/10
GamePlay 10/10
Graphics 8/10
SoundTrack 7.5/10

Overall 7.1/10

Overall: This game is amazing. The story may be dreadful, but its gameplay is just so well put together, it makes up for the bad story. I really want to give this game a better score, but the soundtrack and graphics are very average, and the pacing and overall plot is just way to irritating.
