Games like this were necessary to help shape console games in the future.

User Rating: 2.5 | Custer's Revenge 2600
What an era the Atari 2600 grew up in. No restriction on licesnes ment that games with explicit sexual themes like Custers Revenge could be developed with no one being able to stop it.

In a nut shell (no pun intended) you are Custer. You make your way across the screen avoiding arrows and cactuses to rape an indian woman tied to a cactus. Once you delivered enough thrusts you would start the level over again only it was more challenging.

While the idea of a woman tied to a cactus is horrible, the fact that she would grin with enjoyment and her legs would then shoot out as you 'did the deed' is a bit disturbing.

I've read other reviews and many of them try to claim that this game almost or could have killed gaming. While I understand there feelings about the game given its content, I seriously doubt this game alone could have brought down the juggernaut that is home console gaming even in its infancy. Granted it was deplorable, but games like this were necessary. Without them future consoles might have suffered a similar fate. Can you image something like this on the NES or Genesis? Well you probably can if you download roms, but you would never see it in mass market.
