4 yr old game runs almost perfect on 2 yr old hardware.

I thought the game was mostly a hardware showcase. Turns out it's a great FPS title. I will have to look into Crysis 2 now that a Steam sale saved me from buying the console version of Crysis 1 (and at half the price).

There is one pretty monotonous stage near the end that takes place in a zero gravity environment and eats up an hour without being much fun ( I understand why they cut it out of the console version). With that level, the game easily takes 9+ hrs to complete on normal difficulty.

Wasn't really planning to write a full review, just wanted to click the score mean bar with a 9.0... Need 100 words here, soo... I recommend buying for PC when it goes on sale on steam for $7.50 and you have at least a 2 yr old cheap gaming rig with a $100+ video card upgrade at some point in the past 1.5 yrs.
