I finished it first before Crysis because I was having trouble with max resolution with the original. The steam version at least does not recognize 1920X1200 so you have to change your screen resolution to 1920x1080 to play. Even then it was a little tough with the original that has choppy loading.
I can say this runs smoothly on Win 7 64 bit with a mere Nvidia GTS 250. I got a good 10 hours of play because I used stealth mode to sneak around for my style of play. But you can play it anyway you like as its fairly open to options.
There are some required sequences, such as picking up the big gun first before the final showdown. So if you start to be making no progress, reload a previous level and look around for extra ammo, etc.
Nice expansion you get in a bundle with Crysis Maximum edition on steam.
