let's start with the multiplayer. i'm gonna sum it up in two words. EXTREMELY STUPID. if you pre-ordered this game and started when everyone else did, you may have some luck. but if youre starting right now, dont bother playing the competitive multiplayer. why? You start out with sucky weapons and the bare minimal of health, every enemy has a huge advantage over you, and you can NEVER get a single kill without dying eight times. the ranking system is fair but the weapons and nano suit powers (stealth mode and maximium armor) is just a joke. the armor probably, well, doesnt help you at all. it just slows you down. the stealth mode drains at the snap of a finger and when you fire you weapon while in cloak, it makes the screen flash a very bright white light and lets the enemy drown you with bullets. the competitve multiplayer is extremely unfair, and the "new recruit" mode for beginners, is basically for experts. if you want good competitive multiplayer that is FAIR, play call of duty. But the campaign is the only strong point for crysis 2. it can get repetitive, but you should stick with it. it should take you around 8 hours to complete, and the sound effects and visuals are amazing. the a.i can get a little dumb, but it shouldn't bother you. that being said, buy this game strictly for the campaign, and stay away from the multiplayer. you can spare youre television's life by not throwing your controller at it in frustation and pure anger.
