I hate this game even worse than the original Cruis'n USA. Which says a lot.

In fact, it pretty much says it all. Cruis'n USA was already a badly dated arcade game by the time it hit the N64. The recent re-release on the Wii's Virtual Console and the fact that Cruis'n was one of the top-ten sellers last month just goes to show that people will actually pay money for any old crap if you wait long enough for them to put on their rose-tinted glasses.

Bottom line, no Cruis'n console game was ever worth paying for, and this game is no exception. Instead of taking the series in a new direction, like maybe... making it a good racing game, Midway simply added more "zany" crap like aliens in convertibles. So now it's not only a glitchy, horribly handling, infuriating game, but it's also completely retarded.

The Cruis'n series peaked with the arcade original and it's been a steep downhill slope ever since, with each new one somehow managing to be even crappier than the last. The thing that boggles my mind is how so many people actually admit to liking these games. Personal opinion is a great thing to have, but the reality is that if you like any of the Cruis'n games, you like crappy arcade racing games.

I'll admit that I did enjoy the original arcade game... in 1995. But even that game is so bad that it wasn't worth playing three years later.
