Cute but dull

As a major fan of the original Croc for Playstation and PC, I was very excited when I bought this game.

Sadly, it was a bit of a letdown. OK, a really really big letdown. The story and graphics are sweet and cute, but that's about it. The music grates on your ears after about five minutes, and the jumps are difficult to gage.

The basic plot is a lot of running around and setting Gobbos free (those are the little fuzzballs that raised Croc from a crocling). Most of the Gobbos are locked in cages, and you must solve puzzles to free them. The puzzles are not too bad; they range more towards the easy side than the difficult. I'm not really sorry I bought it; I spent a few hours with it. But it could have been a whole lot better.

Try borrowing the game from friends; don't spend money on it.
