*sigh* I really tried to get into this game. I even made several attempts over the years... However, the wonky and annoying battle mechanics, boring FedEx quests, and light character development really stretch the definition of a JRPG. It's more like a visual novel with heavy fan service, nonsensical battle system, and light RPG elements.
Oh well...at least my copy of The 3rd Birthday has some company in the overrated disappointments pile.
If asked to reduce the game to an arbitrary 10-point value system, Crisis Bore would sit somewhere around a 6.5
