Gaming's odd couple.

User Rating: 7.5 | Crash Twinsanity PS2
Crash and Cortex have been at each other's throats for years, but now they have been forced to work together to defeat a force more powerful than they could possibly imagine. The result is a platform game with an oddball twist. One of the differences is that you now can control Cortex and his niece Nina. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen as often as you might think. You still mainly control Crash. Another big difference is that the previous games haven't been very open-ended, but this game changes that notion somewhat. There are some points where the game becomes frustrating, but the game's steady pace and abundance in action and exploration make it a fun game to play. The game is also pretty funny and sometimes it feels like you are playing a cartoon episode. Sometimes the framerate stutters, and the graphics have really aged quite a bit. The soundtrack is as great as we've come to expect from a Crash game. In the end, Crash Twinsanity is a wacky twist on the platform genre.
