I remember the first time playing Crash back in 96 or so, and being addicted. Recently I bought it on the PS3 store and played through it again, brought back some frustrating memories to say the most. The game is great for the time it was in, with the level creativity, linear game play, and many different things to keep you playing through the game. Usually in a game the boss levels are what you'll get stuck on, but they seem to be very easy in this one. The main problem I had with this game was that you have to rely on getting a bonus level to save your game. There were many times that I would miss one of the 3 required pickups to get a save, or I would get all 3 and accidentally fall off at the end, which is terribly annoying. This usually leads to a broken controller, because you eventually end up losing all your lives, and getting sent back 5 levels. The game is good for its time, but isn't really a grade-A PS game.
