Crash 2 is the best platforming game on PS1.

Everyone knows that the old Crash Bandicoot was the king of platforming next to Mario and Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back will prove you that! This game has made some HUGE improvements since the last game. In Crash Bandicoot 1, the controls were slippery, some levels were nigh impossible even for the most hardcorest of players just because of the lack of Check point crates, but Crash 2 changed all that and even kept the same difficulty on! That's not an easy thing to do, you know. Crash 2 features a massive variety of stages. Jumping around in jungles, surfing in a river, running away from boulders, riding on polar bears, flying with jet packs. Slimy sewers, cold tundras, ancient ruins, you name it, Crash 2 has got it. The bosses are just remarkable! Theyve gotten the difficulty just right on these bosses! Start with the easy, piece of cake boss and end with the nasty, difficult boss. Unfortunately, that doesnt happen in Crash 2. The last boss WILL be a letdown. Youre just flying around in space, trying to catch Cortex, which is reaaally easy. The second last boss, N.Gin was the most difficult one.

Crash 2 has got 25 levels, 5 bonus levels, dozens of secret areas and tasks to do to get your hands on all of the crystals and gems. Believe me, Crash 2 has the most well hidden gems in the series. Just try to figure the blue gem out without using any guides. If youre a friend of platform gaming, saw this classic game somewhere and still have a Playstation, GET IT. You WONT be disappointed. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is a golden platformer.
