Best online game ever created.

User Rating: 9.2 | Counter-Strike: Source PC
Counter-Strike 1.6 and Source are both the most played games ever, with an average of 8000 servers this game is the biggest online game ever, with maps supporting over 32 players, with a huge plug-in and mod community this game should be owned by every gamer.

CS:Source is a teambased tactical multiplayer FPS, you'll play on either Counter-terrorist or Terrorist side, both have a diffrent arsenal of weapons and clothing, which'll help in far range for camoflauge.

The games addictive nature comes from either the other gamemodes in the game, a few popular ones are Gungame, Surf and Zombie Panic! All are running on the Source engine which gives the game great graphics, the best scripted water ever and corpses that realisticly fly around from frag grenades.

Gameplay:
If you are playing with bots, they'll follow you're commands, in multiplayer people will either go in large squads hunting around, or they go in Search and Destroy mode, in plug-ins like Zombie Panic! About 31 players will scurry around the map and protect eachother, which kind of lets you see the teambased action of the game, the controls are great, the weapons in the game all have their pro and cons, did I mention the game uses a cash system?

Cash system is something unique, if you kill somebody, you earn money, with that earned money from each round you'll be able to buy some better gun, which is something else then the stand knive and T/CT pistol you'll get.

Though, the game has a rather learning curf to it, if you play the game for the first time you won't know where to go on maps, know what guns to each, how to use certain techniques like Duckjump, but after a few hours of play you'll get all the basics and techniques to use.

Graphics:
Their great, especially for a Multiplayer game, textures look great and the physics engine really comes in use with all the furniture in some maps, which has the outcome of stuff flying everywhere.

The game also has a few thousand maps, most of them are custom made, lots being Surf and ZM maps, and others are FY maps or just official ones by Valve.

AI:
Bots AI is aggresive, they'll walk around or camp or take defensive positions. Mostly they walk around a certain area trying to spot you or you're team mates, shooting them down, you can set bots in gamemodes like Defusion (Where T sets a bomb, and CT has to find the bomb and defuse it while T camps at the bomb and kills every CT on sight, forcing you to coorperate with you're team) or in just TM.

Story:
Theres NO story, not that it matters, it just plain fun in multiplayer.

Sound:
The voices of bots sound great, explosions and weapons sound good to, furniture or objects that fall around sound good, impacts of bullets on either wood, metal or stone sound good, sound doesn't lack in anything.

Is it a good Multiplayer:
It is, if you want to buy it, buy the Half-Life 2 GOTY edition, it has HL2 (which is a great game and got lots of awards) and CS:Source, and ofcourse HL2 Deathmatch.

I have one complaint tho: Multiplayer sometimes involves you with incredibly stupid players that shout in the mic and just provoke chaos, it either resolves you into laughing incredibly hard at people crying in their microphone, or pissing you off, good thing the Votekick system works well.
