An average game with screwy controls and an extremely frustating campaign.

COnflict Vietnam is, in short, a bad game. I picked it up for a heft 50 bucks ( without researching it first) and it was definitely a BIG mistake. Ill start off with the good stuu however, which is next to nothing. The campaign, as I have already said, sucks. But the multiplayer is actually not bad- you can play a campaign with up to 4 players. I played it once with some freinds and we were hooked for a day. Now for the bad: the controls are terribble and the game is way too hard. You only get lyk 3 saves per mission, you need at least 5. Often you use them up too early and then have to try to play lyk half an hour of gameplay without a single save. The 3rd person perspective doe not work for me- you have the option of switching to 1st person when shooting but what's even worse, you can't see past the barrel of the game. Without the auto-aim feature it would be impossible to kill anyone. Lastly, the commands are TERIBBLE. Its way easier to just switch to the player you want and do the action yourself, instead of spending 5 minutes trying to find out how to tell him to do it. Overall, Conflict Vietnam is a dissapointing game. If you're looking for a good WWII shooter, this is definitely not your best bet.
