Im not a fan of the desert storm games but i am a big fan of vietnam games so when i found this in a shop i grabed it,i think this game does a fantastic job at setting the vietnam scene with marine camps,the jungle and the bombed out city of hue city (the same battle used in the film Full metal jacket) and also (what anouther reviewer said) i love the way they put refrences of films in the cut scenes such as the russian roulet scene from the deer hunter and the mad helicopter shooter "get some get some!" from full metal jacket and a few more,i am also very impressed at the sound track of this game because it features the Rolling stones song Paint it black as well as other 60s classics in a radio station which in points you get a chance to listion to.However the game is extreamly difficult but there is a cheat system within the game which will give you unlimeted saves (more than 2) and the opetunity to skip levels if you get extreamly stuck as i did.Also i like the way that on the first mission in the camp there are alot of litte non lether jobs you can do and troops to talk to and ease drop on while lisning to the classic radio station i talked aboout early so i think this little beginning level is very fun to explore.Now the controls of this game are very hard to get the hang of and your troops arnt as smart as i would of hoped but if you think of ways to get around these issues and maybe cheat a bit here and there then i think you will learn to like the game so my advice is that dont just say goodbye to the game if you are annoid find ways around the problems and you will hopefully realise this game is actually good not pervect but good.
