It's a simple hack-and-slash, but it'll keep you playing for hours.

The game was only 4 bucks on xbox live (what a shocker for microsoft to be so generous); the game was also a surprisingly pleasant experience. The story is meh, but the gameplay is where this game shines. The true colors of this game show when you're mashing the x and y buttons on your controller or while you're grappling the frack out of some wimpy pirates. It's a simple game worth the 4 bucks I paid for it. The camera works nicely. There is no way for the player to manually rotate the camera. In truth, there was never a need for me to do so. I love how seamlessly the game rolls along, from area to area. There is absolutely no lag, nor is there any choppy or otherwise strange animation. The game was well-made and deserves to be applauded for this.

Here are some things that really stuck out for me:
- Being able to pick up any weapons an enemy drops
- Dual wielding and giant 2handers included
- Being able to string together a good amount of combos, each weapon also has its own set of unique combos
- Being able to parry and see unique execution moves
- The fun of unlocking various achievements based on combos or special kills you perform in game.
- This game does feel very arcadey, but in a really good way.
