Good linear Hack'n'Slash game...

User Rating: 7.5 | Conan X360
Finally a next-gen Conan game have hit the stores. But is it worth getting it?
I would say if you want a good action packed game, then yes it's worth it.
Lets get one thing cleared up here, this game is painfully short, and it lasts at most 8 hrs to complete from start to finish including cut-scenes, which last a bit. Right away the game will kick-off with a fancy introduction and Conan hacking it's way through undead hordes. There is a good variety in the game in terms of level design and creatures to kill. The game also features an upgrade system in which you can exchange points you earn for new combos. Combat is also very satisfying and yes... heads will roll!
There are also many boss fights through the game and each encounter feels unique and the way you fight each of them is unique.
The combat gets repetitive and at some parts boring, but the game is definitely a challenge to complete. There are 4 different difficulty modes, so it fits for all types of players too.
However there are many button mushing sequences and to open each door in the game you'll need to use a combination of buttons. Almost all the bosses are finished off by again a button sequence as well.
In conclusion this is a good, short, button mashing game.
