Great WWII rts with plenty of action to please any real time strategy fan.
To keep this review short and to the point, this is a game with an intelligent AI, and you will actually need to use strategy against your computer foe. The online battles are very competitive and engaging, and the unit selection gives you plenty of different soldier types to choose from. There are standard infantry, machine gun units, tanks, medium armored vehicles, and many other unit types. You also get allotted special weapons depending on what class you choose for a battle. These range from air raids, artillery barrages, special unit deployments, and much more. These special weapons add twists to the game that make it more enjoyable and exciting to play. Smashing a large group of Nazi infantry with an artillery barrage and watching their little body parts fly everywhere is extremely entertaining.
One of the aspects to this game that I really enjoyed was that it's not about who has the most tanks, or who has the one special unit that can infiltrate the base and blow everything up. No, the enemy could have 20 infantry assault you and be chopped up by one machine gunner, and tank battalions can be held down and smashed by infantry with anti tank weapons. My favorite weapon is one used by America when you have the Air Force class. Their special units are the paratroopers, tough fighters who are equipped with devastating satchel charges that can kill almost anything and blow up almost any structure. This game has lots of fun and takes WWII strategy to great places. I definitely recommend this game.
