The new stand-alone expansion to Company of Heroes comes at a low price of USD$30. For an expansion pack, it has little content; 8 new units, 3 new multiplayer modes with only one map each, and 3 short campaigns. For old players who already own Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts, there is not much offered, hence the low price.

However, for gamers who have yet to venture into the world of Company of Heroes, this new stand-alone expansion is a very economical buy. All 4 armies as well as all multiplayer modes will be made available with the purchase of Tales of Valor, and at such a low price, it is very much worth it.

Of course, to the veteran CoH players like myself, this causes concern that Relic is targeting new gamers, and might end up ignoring their existing fanbase. Many miss the fact that by drawing in more players, you get a larger community with more gamers playing together online.

    Far too short to justify the cost.
