The humble game of Commando was released on almost every console in the 80s and also seen a return on the wii market place. The basic objective of this game is to rescue prisoners of war. In total this game is more difficult than long while it only has 3 stages those 3 stages repeat but, they become more difficult each time you repeat. This gets a little old the 3rd time. The gameplay is solid which makes up for some of the repetitiveness of the levels. The controls for the NES is actually quite solid for the time. The best way to play this is with a NES Advantage on Turbo for the gun fire and the joystick for better control. This is not the best game on the NES trust me its FAR FROM THE WORST games like Karate Kid. This is definitely one of the best over head shooters on the NES. I would definitely recommend it for any collector or some one who likes playing retro games.
