I loved this game.

I loved this game. Running around shooting commies, throwing grenades and watching them blink out of existence. This is what shooting games started out like on consoles and thats what you young whipper snappers need to know. We didn't have all this 3-D art stuff and fancy surround sound wuzzits. No, we had to make due with games that barely broke the single pixel barrier with trees that looked like brown lines with flem at the top of them. This was the golden age. An age where your imagination wasn't drawn out for you. An age where you could make up noises for dying commies like, "gawkk... Ack!!! AAAHHH". Who am I kidding? I haven't played this game in ten years and will probably never pick it up again. I still remember running around avoiding slow moving bullets, ducking behind bushes and watching as every member of the enemy army came out of one corner of the map if I stayed in one place long enough. The game play was rather simple and thank god for that because if anyone ever tried to add something like a HUD to this game it would be disasterous. So if you ever get the chance to play this game please do. You might learn to appreciate where shooters are at today and understand that those older than you have no imagination now because we used it all up on games like this.
