This expansion feels a little something like Warhammer 40k: Soulstorm.

User Rating: 7 | Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath PC
With tons of new units, the split factions and the inclusion of an experimental Global Conquest, Kane's Wrath packs a lot of punch for an expansion actually, but I feel it's trying too hard to be something else, and not C&C anymore. The load of new units are worth checking out, and could take some time to adjust your playing style to them if you've already been accustomed to the original C&C3, especially with the new ultimate units, much like Warhammer 40k, which tip the scale a lot.

The one-sided NOD single player campaign is quite lengthy and serves to introduce the new units and structures in a well thought-out fashion, but the plot suffers from a so-so script and distasteful acting, which makes it a drag to go through the 13 missions.

The tutorial for the Global Conquest seems a little broken, but I think it's just me. Anyway, if you've played Warhammer 40k Dark Crusade or Soulstorm before, then this Global Conquest feature pales in comparison. In this case, Kane's Wrath provides a fine strategy gameplay for a good 8-10 hours, but lacks oomph for the hardcore C&C fan.
