One of the best puzzle games ever
This simple style and its unique idea contributes to make this game a classic. Technically the game isn't impressive, the graphics are really strange and the sound is repetitive, but it doesn't matter when we are talking about such an intelligent game.
Clu Clu Land is really addictive and discovering all figures that can be formed is a thrill. In the maze there will be some enemies that run around it and will try to get you. There are also kind of black holes that will suck you everytime you come nearby one.
Unfortunately the gameplay can make this game frustrating. The controls are weird, it will take you a while to get used to the directions your character will take whenever you press up, down, right and left. You can even get so confused with the controls that you might get caught by a enemy or running into a black hole by accident.
Despite all its problems and flaws Clu Clu Land is still funny, and when compared to many puzzle games that are mere Tetris' copies this game's originality must be taken into consideration.
