One of the best horror stories ever made in to a game.
I started playing the game reluctantly considering it just another first person shooter that flooded the market in 2001.
But the atmosfere quickly takes over, and you are drawn in by all the details that were included to make this amazing game.
The story for me is one of the best ever told in a game, the inner dealings of the evil family, each family member with his/hers darkness that is slowly discovered to the player until you yourself are engulfed by the evil and the madness.
To put it simply and to avoid any big spoilers, at first the irish-man that you are playing is in shock about the horrors that are around him and then he slowly becomes immune to it and at the end he start to enjoy the bloodshed.
This was truly a innovative game using the now famous Bioshock mecanics of weapon and special ability used at the same time.
And the end twist really caught me off guard and was something I really did not expect.
All in all a great game, that on some levels scared me so much I was trembling.
Also this was by far the best game from Clive Barker.
