This is, simply put, the best RPG of all time. I’m not alone in saying this, it really is. Everything about it, the story, the music, the graphics, everything. The story is one of the most important aspects of any RPG, and this one is completely fantastic. The time travel element is exectuted flawlessly. Everything you do in the past, affects the future. That, by itself, isn’t very interested, but Chrono Trigger mixes this with an excellent story, and characters that you will actually miss after putting down this game. If you are interested in the Playstation version, there are some nice extras, and even some anime-style video cut scenes.
