I got this game because I want to play chess and it had other thing to help in the game of chess. Everything in the game is about chess one way or another. It does teaches chess and goes one by one of the board rows and columns and every piece and how then move and capture. you can skip the lessons. So everyone who want to play chess can. There is no going back if you make a mistake or a bad move. The mini games help with techniques as you avoided trouble and trap and or capture objects. It has many different type of chess puzzles with 10 of each one that are used in a game of chess. I found some of the chess puzzles hard but not all of them. it also give you your time in doing them. as well as how many game you played won draw and lost. It teach some tacks too and thing to watch out for like fork and pins and skewers. I have also found some of my weakness in playing chess. I can win a game of chess against a few of ds people on easy one more often then most. you can also play your friends on their ds. you can play with or without a timer. you can save up to 3 games on it. Hope you enjoy the game if you decide this one it has no fancy but graph's but chess does not need any.
